Who We Are?

Ghirass Cutural Center is an educational, cultural and leisure center that serves a large number of school age children and young people in greater Bethlehem. The target group is children and youth, regardless of their sex, religion or social class.
The center is affiliated to Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation. (A Palestinian, non-religious, non-profit NGO organization). The center is located on the main street, close to the intersection leading to Bethlehem, Beit-jala and Hebron areas, which is a very important site and easily accessible to all.
Its varied activities are particularly targeted towards disadvantage children and young people, coming from refugee camps and rural areas, who are deprived of many opportunities in their local community. These activities include music, arts and handicrafts, drama, folkloric dancing, languages, computer training, library and special education for children with learning difficulties
