DRAMA SECTION
Drama and playing roles is considered an important mean to express the self. It is considered to be an effective method for remedial psychological problems.
Due to the current situation, and to the constant interruptions of the educational process that has had sever impact on learning. Mostly affected the elementary school children. They are too young for self-learning and due to the high level of tension; they are not receiving sufficient support from home environment.
The teachers also are facing high pressure, they can’t come to school on time because of the closure, and they can’t protect themselves or their students.
Many children start to thing about death as a very close thing to them. They think that there chance to live less than their chances to die.
Seeing many children and young people die in their houses and other places far from the confrontation, this promote feelings, that they are not safe in a school, in a street even in their father’s lap no one can protect them.
Looking to their drawings, and listen to their conversations mostly they draw and talk about martyrs, funerals and death that is the daily experiences in their life.
Many parents reported about their children’s trouble to adjust their selves to the high pressure. This could be seen as many children are bedwetting and had nightmares.
Drama program is helping a lot in supporting these children who live in crisis
Aims and objectives of the drama project
- To provide a positive creative outlet for children who have been affected emotionally and psychologically by the current situation.
- Enrich the children’s ability to express their feelings and thoughts.
- To restore self-confidence and experimentation intrinsic to the experience of childhood.
- To foster children’s confidence to express their ideas and feeling through positive and creative means.
- To encourage group relations in particular dialogue, coordination and mutual responsibility through the execution of the project.

Drama from experience: The students will be asked to represent an every day experience they have experienced.
Aims of this activity are to utilize faculties of memory and imagination in relation to representation of movements. This will challenge the children to recall and represent details of their everyday life.
