Objectives of Ghirass Cultural Center

The main aim of the foundation of the Ghirass center is to improve the quality of life for children and young people, through the following objectives.

To provide children with a healthy and stable environment for practicing their hobbies without prejudice to social class, gender, religion etc.
To encourage interest in various arts such as drama, music, drawing, storytelling, reading, and other facets of the Palestinian culture.
To enhance the children’s sense of responsibility, self-confidence and mutual cooperation.
To promote the cognitive and physical development of the child.
To promote children’s rights and provide equal opportunities for children with and without disability.
To promote and strengthen the position of women. The girls are active in the center, and the activities are for both sexes, which strengthens the self-confidence, knowledge and possibilities of the girls.
